It’s hard to imagine that BVB would miss on the dough from the Sancho clause AND miss on the difference between selling Haaland now and next season, and also risk pissing off Raiola and becoming unreliable to other agents who see the Dortmund model as advantageous for their clients, just to hang on to him for one more seasonthe sell-on clause remains huge leverage for us.

I'm not saying we won't sign a striker but I also don't think we'll panic or feel forced to either. Pep has already stated that Delap will join up with the first team next season, I'm sure he wouldn't had said that if he felt he wasn't ready, just like Foden the kid has no fear so it wouldn't faze him.Delap is an untried kid who will probably be going out on loan to the championship and Jesus just hasn’t trained on, nowhere near a good enough finisher to be the main striker for a team with premier league and champions league aspirations. We have had to change the way the team plays in part because he simply can’t be relied on to do the business when it matters.
There is no chance imo that we don’t sign at least one striker this summer.
