Personally I think Bernardo is the one to go for Grealish if it were to happen.

I like Bernardo, he's infectious with his work rate, but he doesn't give the numbers or even the threat that he should from that position. He's also unfortunately not nailed down a spot, and is constantly being shifted around. When we sign a striker he won't be in the first XI.

I think he's the one who could be moved. He hasn't played at his best level since the treble season. I appreciate he works hard, but his end product isn't there for me.
I believe Bernardo came into his own after Christmas along with Gundogan they were both finding there feet when we had Kev out injured.

Berny is to valuable to let go imo, Sterling has to be gone before Berny its as simple as that

Why people keep mentioning Felix its madness he's produced fookall, like Pogba a luxury in the team that you just no wont turn up

If he cant produce in the Spanish league then he isn't winning hearts over here imo

Grealish all day long for me..

Quite surprised at how many people would swap Bernardo for Joao Felix or Jack Grealish.

Personally I'd be saying not to both those deals because Grealish won't ever be as good as Bernardo, and Felix for all his grace and talent feels like a luxury player with no real defined position.

Bernardo is our Swiss army knife. Can play almost anywhere and be world class.
His stats for 20/21 42 matches, 3 goals and 6 assists . Only my opinion Ahsan but I don’t think that’s a great return from a player like bernardo. Don’t know his 19/20 stats but doubt they were much different. Personally I’d take Grealish or another in his position but it’s all opinions isn’t it.

He is the single reason our midfield gelled together this season and Gündogan was then able to push higher up. It won us the league and got us to a CL final. It also, on other occasions, allowed him to help Mahrez, overlapping with him on the right because Walker isn't as good at it. You are seriously undermining his importance

I think if player exchanges are being considered i do think they should involve players who perhaps have hit their peak.
Gundy and mahrez spring to mind, even with the seasons they've had, I think they should bethe ones considered as the squad refreshes and gets fresh legs.
Gundy back to dortmund to get Bellingham would be a good move.

Both are willing to adapt positiobs and at times not plays for a game or two.

When they come in they put in maximum effort in whatever position they play.

If we are to replace them then it has to be with players of the same mindset, will grealish be happy if he doesn't start for possibly 5-6 games in a row ? Would Felix ? We don't know tbf.

Also I don't think bernie or jesus have really has long periods playing in their best positions

Would be happy to see Jesus moved into the left AM role competing with foden and a new striker bought in with torres used as a 9

Also we still don't know what Pep plans for Kayck yet, where he will play if brought strainght in
Yeah that's kind of my point too. I don't think there's any way City want him to leave, but if there is any truth in the chat about him maybe thinking of moving its probably to do with him going somewhere he can play his natural game. Certainly nothing to do with game time.

His numbers are irrelevant for me as he brings something intangible to the midfield.

I am also surprised fans are willing to let Bernardo go as well. He for me is so important to the way we play plus brings that energy that we lack.

I would like Grealish as a midfield option. But it's clear he is not easily gettable. Interested to know what our midfield targets are, and of what profile. I'm convinced we will sign one.

I think Bernardo has regressed unfortunately. I accept there’s some reasons beyond his control for this but it’s still how I see it. Love him and ideally would like him to stay but if there’s a handful of unhappy players who have made noises regarding their playing time then we seriously have to consider selling in order to improve the squad.
From reading this forum there’s question marks on a few high value assets who might be willing to move on. In order of personal preference of who I’d see go from the players most mentioned it’d be something like, Sterling, Mahrez, Laporte, Bernardo then Jesus.
I’d be happy to keep them all but if money needs bringing in then we have to be realistic.
