Yeah, obviously, as we’d have announced he was going otherwise.Obviously?

agree with all of that...I am not confident City will be prepared to put up £120m to £150m for either player. Personally, I hope we go all out for Haaland, who is younger and is an absolute beast of a striker who I think would score a shed load. However, Kane is an excellent player who will also guarantee goals, assists and is a very clever player. My main concern with Kane is that he is prone to ankle injuries.
we could waver the sell on fee for Sancho....win winBidding war with his dad and Raiola.
You keep saying this, it is pretty obvious we are about to throw 120m+ on a striker unless we think Kane is going to be cheaper because we have Ake or someone to offer so there is a reason we are not putting it on the table for Haaland.
Working amazingly for him would be achieving those personal accolades whilst winning actual silverwareWhy not? Brought him his best ever season, top goalscorer and top assists. It was dire to watch but worked amazingly for him
With the price he is going to go for I don't think Dortmund are bothered however like I said, I would be very surprised if the reason we aren't going for Haaland is financial.we could waver the sell on fee for Sancho....win win
Either that or our number one target is Harry Kane ;)On the striker subject, imo we are happy to try to get some form of price for Kane sorted, as it helps flush out Dortmund and whether they are going to be stubborn and hold onto Haaland and lose money.
Hypothetically, we ”agree” a few with Spuds for say £120mil (with or without makeweights going opposite way) and then we turn round to Dortmund and say “this £120mil is yours if you want it, otherwise it’s going to Levy/Spurs for Harry. Make your decision quick style.”
I’ve just got a sneaky suspicion that all is not lost yet with getting Haaland out of Dortmund this summer.
I really hope you’re right. On the striker subject, imo we are happy to try to get some form of price for Kane sorted, as it helps flush out Dortmund and whether they are going to be stubborn and hold onto Haaland and lose money.

Why wouldnt Dortmund be bothered....if they sell for 100m....15% sell on fee is 15m to us or that they can keep.....again thats a lot of money to clubs who are desperate due to covid...plus 120-150m for Haaland.....With the price he is going to go for I don't think Dortmund are bothered however like I said, I would be very surprised if the reason we aren't going for Haaland is financial.
Im really hoping that is the case.....its gone very quiet on Haaland....however its also gone quiet mostly on Kane accept these speculative reports on the ammount Spurs supposedly want for him (which anyone could easily take a complete random guess at if we are being honest)On the striker subject, imo we are happy to try to get some form of price for Kane sorted, as it helps flush out Dortmund and whether they are going to be stubborn and hold onto Haaland and lose money.
