A straight swap would be about right I reckon. Sterling is younger, Kane is better.
No chance.Beside the fact Sterling wouldn't move to Spurs, they wouldn't pay his wages.

I think the only realistic 'makeweights' are Jesus or Zinchenko, and i'm not convinced Pep would sanction either. That leaves Ake......

Problem is kane wont have made his move unless he knows where he is going....and that means we arent getting haaland as we must have told kane we will pay up for him...which means surely we have been told haaland ain't coming to us

This blocks is from getting haalandxanytime in the next 3-4 yrs if we have kane....

I think that is a mistake

Unless kane is off abroad
Tolmie us saying that Kane’s stance will light a fire under Haaland.

Haaland, is the target for sure, Kane a very decent back up.
let’s not forget Kane’s record in a relatively average side, KDB feeding him, Ederson outlet ball, Kane’s ability to spread the play, I honestly believe he’d be a revaluation at city.
No doubt be an interview where he stays after club refuse to let him go, loyalty is with Spurs etc

When I’ve seen him live, he’s always been gash, however, his goal scoring record suggests he isn’t always like that.

Probably because we’re amazing!

I‘d take Son over him too. Maybe next summer? ;-)
The fact that Spurs fans would be queuing up to drive him to Manchester...suggests that other than his 6/7 game purple patch a season, your right, he is gash ;)

Feel a bit for the"unnamed Turkish club", I'm getting images of a snowball in hell :-)

In my mind, it seems to be shaping up like this, Haaland staying another year so rags sign Cavani on a one year deal then go for Haaland.
Chelsea go for Lukaku.
We go for Kane (although I'm not sure of the died in the wool Spurs comments, sure Kane was an Arsenal fan as a kid, so wouldn't rule our him going to Chelsea) but, would give us 3-4 years of looking for the next Haaland.

Don’t anybody kid yoursel

If he’s told Spurs he wants to leave his personal terms are all agreed with another club and they’ll have made him their primary target and allocated the money.

and I doubt we’d have agreed to let Aguero go so early if we didn’t have someone lined up.

Dortmund getting a CL spot, Spurs missing out them oweing a load of money for Stadium all backs this up imo.

Rather have Son. I don't get the hard-on's some people have for Kane.
This and this. The team is built round feeding him. Too old and injury prone. Says a great deal about his elite mentality that he has been happy to commit most of his career to a club that never come close to winning anything.

well if all that’s true what will levy want for him oh we can’t afford anything more than 90m

Think we're spoiled for options at attacking midfield, both wings, centre-back and right back.

The three areas where we could strengthen are up front, left back and holding midfield. We don't need anyone, but Haaland and Nuno Mendes would be the first names which come to mind with Aguero & Mendy the ones to leave.
