This kind of comments Berrada allegedly made worries me. If you can't see that we need a new striker and a new creative midfielder, you're unfit for the job and should be replaced immediately. You're not getting paid by doing nothing. It would be a huge mistake of not addressing the problems in this team.
We always seem to rest on our laurels in the transfer market when we've just won the league. I would expect one signing this summer and hopefully it's a striker

slightly concerning the talk of decent investment not needed. Obviously Omar isn’t going to tell everyone we are going to blow a shitload to the media but with others improving we need to rejig things and keep ahead of our rivals!
We obviously will replace Aguero and I think it's the only regig we really NEED. Any other regigs may be nice nice but not urgent

Just fuck off whoever is having a whinge. Don't care if it's Laporte, Sterling, Dias or Foden.

If they don't want to have to fight for a place when they lost it down to their own shit performances then fuck them off.

Get in players who are already quality and still have the fight and desire to prove themselves and win things.

They'll always have my respect and admiration for what they've achieved with us but I feel like some of the team have gotten too comfy and that right there is the death of progress.

I don't think it's as dramatic as that. We've gotten to the end of every competition barring the FA Cup being in the top 2. The squad clearly has a dynamic which works even if there are players who are unhappy (you show me a football club's dressing room, I'll show you some unhappy footballers). But ultimately it comes down to whether they all think the grass is greener.

The only one who has gone public is Laporte, and for me that's when you get sold. Privately unhappy players is par for the course.

Problem is

Who the fuck is buying Laporte? No one has money. The 2 big spanish giants dont have the money and City wont sell for a pound less than the release clause they paid because hes obviously worth more than that...

If there's no buyer he'll stay. If he is DESPERATE to leave, then he'll accept being used as a makeweight in a deal IF we can use him in that manner. Or he'll find himself a buyer who will pay the money.

The general tone of things is obviously a reflection on the defeat to Chelsea. But don't lose sight of the fact that this squad has done incredible things this season, Laporte included. If they stay together they'll do them again.

We don't need wholesale surgery, we need. two first XI players adding to the squad IMO.

A winger and striker? Someone for competition to Phil on the left

not sure raheem will be sold, pep trusted him to start the champs league final over dinho,

i can see laporte going, sad because imo him and dias would of been an even better partnership than stones /dias , stones has been chosen on merit, so i cant argue with that, but dias stones ake and maybe a youngun would be enough if nobody gets injured , i can see mendy going as well back to france for very little money so they can afford his wages.

in hopefully a new forward to replace sergios goals(if thats possible) a left back and a midfielder, grealish, aouar ect ect ?

Just scrolling through madrid twitter, they want Laporte as the replacement for Ramos. Madrid do have a little money this window but need to sell so they will offer players. Odegard, Hazard, etc

I said two months ago that I felt that as his likely destination with the contract situations of Varane and Ramos.

We dont need a massive overhaul...we need one or two first team starters.....a forward and a defensive midfielder possibly......the squad is at a good age and has just smashed the premier league, won the CC and got tot he Champs league Final......its achieved a great season

Get a forward In (which we will I have zero doubt) and we are already much better off than last season as we basically played a huge part of the season without one.
