One problem Barca have got with Messi is this super league shite. UEFA are threatening to ban Barca, Madrid & Juve. May be an empty threat, but if your Messi do you sign that contract before you know the outcome?

Is it any more complicated trying to sort a deal out for a player when they're on International duty at a tournament? Most of the talking is at club level so presumably it doesn't make much difference. Messi obviously has a nice summer break now. I just can't see how he leaves Barca now. Aguero is over there which is a big win for him, and they're looking likely to sign Wijnaldum as well. Yes they're adding some older players, but with some good young talent still there and continuing to emerge the prospects at the club are a lot brighter than they were last summer.

I can't see why he'd come now, but we shall see. You know more than I do, but I'd put the activity down to a desire to move quickly on all transfers considering the Euros and then very little time before we're back into another long season.
