I've never been so embarrassed...

The problem with internet forums is they give people the chance to say things without most people knowing who the person is that is saying it, and most of the time they post things that they would never say in public.

Some people will just post the first thing that comes to their heads, mostly in anger, without thinking or restraint, to be honest nothing shocks me on here any more, seen it all before.

I can understand people being angry and disappointed with last night, what fan wouldn't be, but it never fails to amaze me, the vendettas some people hold over certain players or managers, it was the same with Hughes, I don't really think it is healthy.

To be honest if I ever felt like posting some of the bile that has been posted on here in the last 24 hours, I would log of for good

At the reaction of the fans on this forum to that game.

Jeez. So much hate and anger directed at single people in our squad and management, when it was quite clear we failed as a team. No single player was to blame, even Kompany wasn't up to scratch tonight. Such is life, and games like this happen. Look at Chelsea v Sunderland at S. Bridge. United against West Brom at the swamp.

As for calling Mancini and Balotelli etc gutless/clueless/idiots and other such obscenities, you need to take a good long look at yourself as a city fan, because this isn't who we are or what we're about as City fans!

People on here go on about how City fans are the best fans in the world, well fucking show yourselves! I've seen less hate come from the mouths of scum fans I know.

Pull yourself together for god's sake. It's one game. Let's move on, win the F.A. Cup, and get the Champs league spot!
The majority who post on here aren't blues. It's just posted to undermine City support and to wind up the few loyal fans who use this board

Do you have any evidence for this?

Do you actually go to games?

And some of us are embarrassed at you so called fans not caring as much about last night as some of the so called players.

Results like that hurt......Hard. And real fans cant just shrug it off an say oh well. we'll be better next game.

I dont think we will do better next game TBH. The 3 points last night were VITAL.

Couldnt agree more!

I'm sorry I hate referencing to rags but they lost to Liverpool 3-1 yet their season isnt over and their not calling for the manager to be sacked?

Have you looked in our trophy cupboard lately? Or seen our points tally.

With a cupboard full of trophies and sitting 7 points clear at the top, I think it's a bit easier to be philosophical about 1 bad result.

When the 1 bad result comes after nearly 2 seasons of generally pretty dire performances, I think we can be forgiven for being a little pissed off.

Well said, that man

We are called supporters, please support the team. Yes we are not perfect, I do not particularly like the long haired lover from Tuscany but to keep changing managers does not bring success, we are still a work in progress.
I am amazed by some of the things Mancini does but do not think finding fault is productive.
As I have said earlier on another thread, it was one terrible game, let us support our team

I do care! Those results do hurt, but my first thought isn't to come on here and say how much of a twat individual players or management staff are!

Yesterday was a systemic fail, not any one mans fault. Even though Mancini says it was his fault, with the players on the pitch we should have done much better. The back 4 didn't change from Sunderland yet they failed so how can that be Mancini's fault specifically?

future posters of this thread, read this carefully, my issue is not with people voicing an opinion of dissent for the performance, but with the same old childish, pointless, and captious rhetoric which seeks to scapegoat individuals.

The same back four without De Jong in front of them...........here lies a big differance!

I think its well funny and shouldnt be taken too seriously..
When we play well we get giddy and the happy clappers are out when we play badly all the bumskimmers come out ..

Now on to the semi. ;)
