Oh and for the record, I slagged off one player last night. Kolarov, not for being a shit defender but for being a coward. I expect more than that off our players. Look back over the season and Kolarov has consistantly turned his back on a goal rather than take it in the face/balls. Come on, me or you would have done that for our club, wouldnt we?

All City fans are entitled to an opinion. Especially when people on here are actually showing more tactical knowledge than our manager. Before the game everyone was unhappy with the team we put out, end result is we get thumped and Mancini comes out and says he got it wrong.....Well done Mancini, we were all saying you got it wrong before the defeat. Doesnt exactly inspire much confidence going into the home straight of the most important finish to a season in the past 20 odd years does it?

What fans fail to realise is that they're not managers because they have no idea of the decisions which you don't get seen made. All you see week in and week out is team selection and subs. There is so much more to managing a squad than that. For all we know De Jong and Silva said to the manager "I don't think I can play 90 mins, I took a knock in training".
If that squad had won yesterday you'd have all been singing his name like the away fans were at Anfield last night. There have been plenty of times where everyone has slated his decisions and he's got it spot on. What you want from this guy? 100% home and away record? Grow up, that's not how it works. Team building takes time.
I guess you want Mourinho in as well? Well picture this, Tevez leaves in summer, and Balotelli goes because of Mouinho. We're down to just Dzeko, and need to spend money on new strikers with the financial fair play rules creeping up on us. That has European ban written all over it!

It's always been the same on here (been reading a lot longer than regged). I think the majority of posters haven't left school yet considering the volume and variety of namecalling insults that are aimed at various players. It really is pathetic that they can't express their opinions properly so just start posting abuse of the players like some tantrum-throwing child.
What embarasses me is that this is the most popular City forum on the web and known to be read by club officials as well as other club's fans and knowing that they're seeing some of the crap that get's posted.

It's not about what they are born with, it's about the application, the delivery. The manager and the players of this club have cost £400 million to deliver. I watched BIlly McNeill's team of 1984-85 deliver promotion on a grand sum of £75 grand.
If you are telling me that a manager and a team who have spent £400m should be applauded for doing better than a team that spent peanuts, and we should be grateful for the fact that we are so much higher in the league, then I really do despair.
This manager and those fucking mercenaries who masquerade as City players are destroying this club's (and our) dream. Wake up!

It's not the team, it's the reaction of some of the fans. When we were losing in league one, we'd all have a good laugh about it and say "typical city" in a jovial manor! Now it seems one sub par performance, which all teams do at some point in a season (see examples in the OP), and everyone is ready to exile our players and vilify the players and management staff, which just isn't fair or correct IN MY OPINION, of course!
