Thing is Chelsea made a player break his contract. We HAVENT dont that, he didnt have a contract. We have done similar to what United did with Pogba(sp) but they offered him a house to live in. If we are punished United will be also

Whats pissing me off is SSN only taking one side of the story and publishing everything that Le Harve wrote and nothing with regard to city's statement, yet when Le Harve accused the rags it was only a very small story.

Manchester City is aware of the ongoing contractual dispute in the French Labour Courts between Jeremy Helan and Stade Rennais. The dispute between the player and the Club pre-dates any interest from Manchester City.
Manchester City obviously cannot comment on the case until the French Judicial Process has run its course, however we are comfortable that we have acted within the rules throughout the process and in no way induced any breach of contract by Jeremy Helan.

The statement on the OS explains why talkshite have been dancing round the issue this morning rather than using it to batter us round the head.
FIFA are going to have one hell of a can of worms opening up here...and bollocks to transfer "procedure"-you know this is all about money.

If the allegation relates to City inducing the player to break his contract, it seems from the official statement from the club that we are arguing there was already a legal dispute between the player and Rennes about his pre-contract agreement prior to our arriving on the scene.
If we can prove this to be the case I can't see that we'll have too many problems, as we can simply state that the player wanting out at Rennes pre-dates us, therefore was not the result of us inducing the player to break his contract. Particularly if the French Court rules in favour of the player.
