I think if Grealish was 18 or 21 then I would agree he’s got time for trophies and champs league. Right now at 25, it’s going to take Villa longer then he’s got left as a player. It’s harder now than ever with a lot of clubs having rich owners. Also no guarantee of success. Plus I really don’t think Dean Smith is a top manager.I’m not going to die on the hill that this isn’t possible, but I’ve said peacefully multiple times that it’s a long shot. This is more about where the player wants to be. Highly unlikely that Villa will be winning major trophies or even playing CL during Grealish's career. Grealish will be rich when he retires from football but will he be satisfied that he achieved everything he could as a player.
