Transfermarkt has us down for £35m of sales plus the sell-on fee for Sancho and there looks like two more young players could be on their way too. Would come to £55m in if they work out. Exactly. Unfortunately people don't seem to grasp this, Everyone is waiting for a sale of Mahrez, Sterling, Laporte ect which isn't going to happen! They don't realise we have sold players that's been out on loan or players that haven't kicked a ball for us bet yet we are still getting £10m for them.
We do seriously good business moving players on and we don't get credit for it.

John Terry and Lionel Messi haven't been above using us to drive up contract offers from their current clubs. I would be disappointed but not surprised if Grealish's camp are just trying to squeeze every last penny out of Villa.

That (Terry and loads of others) was when we were in the takeover infancy and all at clubs who were challenging for things. Messi does it because us and PSG are the only ones who pose a real threat to getting him from Barca.

I’d be very surprised if Grealish was doing it given he’s at a a club who isn’t on par with us, currently, in terms of matching his trophy ambition.
