Personally I think if anyone is capable of hitting Messi levels, it's Foden.

There are plenty sating he is the new Messi and even worse better than Maradona.

Big difference from excitement to fan boy worship before he has even signed.

Are they saying he's better or worse than Maradona?
Maybe more talented but has a lower profile?

Well we will see. Just strikes me as a big risk lumping that much on one player who hasn't done it season in season out and isn't much if any better than most of our midfield. I know we have a budget but clearly we don't have a bottomless pit of money like some seem to think on here.

But if he comes in then great, I will support him as always.

Do you and Fordy get any pleasure from the transfer threads as you both seem hell bent on looking for negatives all the time.

Let those who manage the clubs finances worry on the affordability, just enjoy the ride.
