Would be a great signing and give us options to see if Delap is good enough by giving him games, no brainier, really hope this happens. No disrespect to Kane who is a great player but his age and Levy will make it difficult to get any deal over the line.

Again, don't get me wrong, Grealish has got talent, plenty of it. But we're a long way from "he's THE signing". He'd be potentially third or fourth choice in whichever position he came in to play at city.

Any players coming to us this summer are ones that are upgrades to players we already have.

Haaland/Kane big upgrade, Grealish downgrade and as you say , possible issues off the field are a big risk.

I think we'll still end up signing a striker though.

The false 9 has worked this season, but it could be that the club wants to see how Torres and Jesus develop next season. If it doesn’t work, then Haaland then falls in our range.

He needs to be far more professional if he wants to join City. Talent alone doesn't get you here.
