I mean that Sterling doesn’t have the technical ability to play a more methodical, slower build up style that we’ve adopted this season. He suited the faster paced stuff getting on the end of Sane crosses etc. Don’t get me wrong if he got back to his 18/19 form he’d play his part but I think Grealish would be more effective in and around the box for us currently. When you say the way we play, do you mean the way we started to play this season as a reaction to having no fit strikers, or do you mean the way we will play after spending £100m on Haaland or Kane?
Because it should be obvious that the two are not the same, and yet for some reason I keep seeing people pretend like we're going to continue playing without a striker?

Hookers , drugs etcThat doesn't sound great. Not exactly expecting another Adam Johnson situation but you know all his dirty laundry will be hung out for all to see as soon as he joins us.
They are ambitious club and its not like the current situation surrounding Kane.Grealish is getting on, he can't wait
Jesus and Laporte are the only two I can see asking for moves.
I'm pretty sure Laporte will wait a year.
It's not even 9 months since he stopped being the default starter in this side and he's just gotten into international football, so that's a nice career progression for him, he shouldn't feel like he's treading water or going backwards.
In 12 months time Real will be looking for their Ramos replacement and Barca will have money - and they desperately need a great CB.
In the meantime, Stones' injuries may return and he might play enough to be happy here. Or Stones and Dias could be the next great PL centre back partnership and we say goodbye to Laporte with all the good wishes in the world and bring in £70m.
