Quite. Most importantly FFP has allowed legacy clubs to borrow money and spend well beyond their means in a vain attempt to maintain their dominant positions whilst simultaneously effectively banning other owners making legitimate equity investments in their businesses from their own legitimate resources. How anyone can think that’s fair or reasonable is beyond me.No we wouldn't be happy but FFP doesn't even create "an illusion of a fair playing field" - what it does do is protect certain clubs (we all know which ones) from their poor investment decisions while ensuring that other clubs continue to suffer from periods of failure on the pitch and their consequent inability to invest. And these were the coldly calculated intentions of FFP.
