I have no doubt we’re interested, the only question is whether he is the first choice replacement for Sané or 2nd or 3rd.
 
Zidane won FIFA World Player of the Year for the third time when be was 30. Just saying... (yes, I am aware he is possibly one of the best midfielders that has ever lived and Grealish is Grealish).

Fair enough mate, not saying players can’t be world class at 30 and do amazing things, but just in my mind I always think of a players peak athletically naturally occurring around age 26-29.

Modern day footballers should peak between 28-32 if they don't get any serious injuries. Don't understand the dislike of him, he's top quality.

Modern sport science has probably bumped that up a bit tbf. For instance you can hardly see KDB dropping off a cliff in two years and Fernandinho and Touré had possibly their best seasons for us past 30. Grealish could peak before 30 but it's an unknown really.


Besides, Grealish could be top quality for City in some way or form even if his peak is only 27.
