With Grealish’s ball retention and ball carrying ability, plus his sheer physicality, Pep will be licking his lips at the prospect of Jack playing as an 8.

Nobody can. People need to realise this, we don’t make like for like changes because we can’t. KDB doesn’t have the control of Yaya Toure, but he was still ultimately our Yaya Toure replacement.

Bernardo is Portuguese. He seems to appreciate the UK quite a bit but got a bit fed of of hearing about Wales and the Welsh. I know that feeling;)

Freezing cold agreed, but not damp and constant grey clouds you can almost touch for months on end.

I’d rather that than the biting cold of Holland for instance.
I once had a week in Amsterdam in February. I wore what I considered to be clothes suitable for winter but I’d never been so cold - in a 10 minute walk between coffee shops you lost sensation in your legs and arms and the damp wind off the sea sweeping across the flat landscape could peel the flesh off your face.
Probably only 5 or 6 below but the high humidity and windchill had the effect of maybe a minus 15 or less.

If I had the cash I would retire to Spain/somewhere hot and nice for 8 months of the year and come back home for the other 4 months.

I wouldn't miss the snow and rain in all honesty, living in Carlisle I have seen enough rain to last the rest of my life and I fkn hate snow. :)
