I can never understand why players want to play in muggy/red hot conditions I'd much prefer to be running around for 90mins cooled down by the piss rain/snow.... But then again I'm not from Portugal.

I think Pep and his team will have done sufficient due diligence before the Euros and will have watched him enough to know how he would fit within our squad, don't you?

its a whole new ball game at manchester city than villa
champions league football is also another 3 level up than villa

a player can sometimes not fit into a new club because of the demands asked of him week in week out
its ok doing once every 6 to 8 games at villa but at city you have to be on it every time you play
