Depends who you believe; anywhere between £80-100 million quoted in the press.
That’s far too much in my view and we just don’t need another creative midfielder.

He has a buy out clause.To describe him simply as a creative midfielder doesn't do him justice either.

I don’t doubt he’s a very very good player but we’re well stocked in left sided attacking midfield players and I would question his character and judgement. He always seems to attract trouble off the pitch and the media would have a field day with his persistent misdemeanours if he played for us. We don’t need it.
Apart from that the money can be spent much better elsewhere.
Just my opinion.
