Jack Grealish

Not on the wind up this this time. Grealish wouldn't of solved any of our problems against Leeds and would of had the same problems as Sterling (Sterling has the better goalscoring record despite his erratic finishing)

I actually agree with you.

Grealish doesn't score anywhere near the same number of goals as Sterling does.

Goals don't define Grealish because he brings so much more in terms of overall play. His ability makes a team much more fluid and cohesive, whilst he thrills supporters.

A player you can rely on when the shit hits the fan,one who inspires and takes a game by the scruff.

I know that , and I agree about his overall play. I only replied to the comparison which was used in reference to Sterling.

I think Grealish is talented and capable of doing well at City especially with Pep looking to educate him on certain aspects . If we are in for him I will look at it in a very positive light.

Sterling can be just as creative when on form. I don't see Grealish as an improvement on what we have currently got and would add and not solve problems.

I agree that grealish is a better overall player “objectively” like he is more technical and doesn’t trip over the ball but as bad as sterling is he has an eye for goals which I am not sure grealish has.

Grealish is more about creating chances and taking players on rather than scoring. We need players that have goal on their mind first not dribbles though

I wouldn't mind bringing back Jadon Sancho back if we are after that type of player and a player who can keep Sterling on his toes. The only things not in our favour is his enthuisasm in returning to a club (yes Grealish currently wins that aspect of the deal) and Dortmund's valuation.

I actually think that is a non-starter .

Grealish spends more time on the floor then the whole city team combined. He gets the free kicks while at villa but there’s no way it’ll be the same if he comes to city. Every single dive will be highlighted.

We should’ve offered Leroy better wages and offloaded Raheem. We need pace, but we’ve kept the wrong one.

If money is tight, Kane for Sterling and cash, and Felix for Jesus and cash. Squad dramatically improved.

You have an unhealthy obsession with hating Grealish. 104 posts you’ve made in this thread!
Not by a long chalk but I will leave it be (I know the mods and other posters are on the wind up/fishing trip, or after a virtual punch up). Just a difference in opinion. Same with Mahrezm, although not my favourite player but has improved and has proved that he is capable

Should have , could have, might have .

All irrelevent now and probably true at the time he turned down a new contract.

Stop trying to re-write history ffs.

I doubt it he made his mind up to leave since Bayern declared interest. Not much more we could of done
