Playing a different role at City but he has proved his worth at the club.Bit worrying after 4 years
Go on the ignore countNot in 10 years but we live in hope.
I'd love to know how many have me on ignore! Haha!Go on the ignore count
Palmer is but just like Grealish at Villa and Foden he needs to be gradually introduced to the first team. Are you a politician :)
You said we have someone as good as Grealish. Do you not think if that were the case, he would still be an academy player?
We will simply have to disagree.Palmer is but just like Grealish at Villa and Foden he needs to be gradually introduced to the first team.
Yep. This is me done in this thread until if (or when) Grealish does signWe will simply have to disagree.
Yeah, not disputing he’s class.Playing a different role at City but he has proved his worth at the club.
Absolutely.Don't discount the difficulty of moving someone out this summer
Independence of Trafford....ha ha haI'm still lying in my scratcher with a banging head after going out to celebrate the independence of Trafford yesterday.
That coincided with puting my missus on a flight back to sunny Glasgow for a month so give me a few hours and I'll be back on form. Haha!
That's not strictly true. The original story appeared in the Daily Mail and was a steer off the record. I was also steered by someone at United that City were now at the table.
Even before that, Nedum Onuoha got wind of the deal at City.
Someone I do trust suggests a player would need to move out first.
Is it too soon for Kev to play a little deeper when needed if Fernandinho leaves? I’m pretty certain Pep has alluded to the fact that as Kev gets older, the deeper he’s likely to play.Absolutely.
Aguero moves for sure. Dinho, possibly.
Grealish is good enough to take Kun's place IF we stick to false nine, but it seems we are in for Haaland to fill that spot.
He can't fill Dinho's boots and I am totally convinced Gundogan is going to stay where he is, taking David's tempo setter role. That means either Dinho stays or we get someone who's similar- an athletic, ball playing DM.
Sterling ? Imo nobody is paying him his salary demands this summer, let alone the relatively high fee City will demand.
Mahrez ? I would have happily taken Grealish for him till December 2020. Right now? He's showing levels Grealish is yet to show.
Bernardo? No way.
In short, I think it's either Haaland or Grealish this summer. Actually Grealish as a backup to Haaland.
Personally, I think he has neither the ability nor the discipline to play that role and he would be wasted that position. Is it too soon for Kev to play a little deeper when needed if Fernandinho leaves? Gundogan can and has played there successfully. But it's my strong feeling that he will play David role next 2/3 seasons. Is it too soon for Kev to play a little deeper when needed if Fernandinho leaves? Plus Gundogan can play deeper, so could definitely fit Grealish in if Fernandinho leaves
I’m surprised you don’t think he has the ability to play there, what is it that makes you think he doesn’t have the ability?Personally, I think he has neither the ability nor the discipline to play that role and he would be wasted that position.
I don't really know how to express it, but that role needs an ability to suffer at times. Take some blows, absorb pressure. I just don't see it with Kevin right now, could be that I just lack the imagination.I’m surprised you don’t think he has the ability to play there, what is it that makes you think he doesn’t have the ability?
I agree that it could be perceived as somewhat of a waste, although I think he’d play the position as more of a dictator of play than a true DM.
I expect we’ll find out at some point in the future when his engine slows down a bit
Kev 29 Mahrez 30 & Gundy 30 I believe, so signing Jack would be the next cycle that Tixiki has spoken about in the past, this summer would be about the right time to sign him if we can get him for £80 million plus add ons.Absolutely.

The question is how are we making a squad spot for him this summer ?Kev 29 Mahrez 30 & Gundy 30 I believe, so signing Jack would be the next cycle that Tixiki has spoken about in the past, this summer would be about the right time to sign him if we can get him for £80 million plus add ons.
