Jack Rodwell is the word from former manager

This injury problems shouldn't be an issue because of his age , there have been plenty of great players who had numerous injuries at the beginning of their career . Look at Wilshire if the opportunity to sign him occurred would people still be hesitant to sign him?
Roberto is not only a tactically fantastic manager he is a great coach as well and would devolp Rodwell into an international player .
If we were to sign him and its a big if IMO , his best position would eventually be the right sided centre back of a back three .
The times I have watched Rodwell which isn't a lot I've been impressed with his key attributes tall , quick , good on the ball , can read the game and likes a tackle .

Jack Rodwell is one of those players who is equally comfortable at centre half or in midfield, but is not good enough to play in either position for a top club. He doesn't always start for Everton when fit ffs.

Mancini wouldn't have signed a new long term contract without assurances that he has te last say in transfers, so if this ranger is true, I would hav confidence in Mancini being able to develop Rodwell in the same way he has improved Richards,Kompany,Zabaleta,Hart etc
