He was actually injury-free in the last few weeks in his last season at Everton, and already lost his place in Moyes' side. That's why a lot of people were even surprised we bought him for a relatively high fee.

Who gives a flying fuck in a few years time we will be selling English talent like bags of sweets because they will not be good enough, those that are will be sent to Aus, Japan and the States to play competitive football so that when they are ready they will make our first team, god bless Mansoor and may all his teas be chippy teas.
I don't think he's being as insulting as the headlines and a few posters are suggesting, rather he's telling young talent to make sure you go to a level where you'll be playing every week, I agree with him in that regard. Moreover he's saying that being English won't make you special, good, it shouldn't. We are gonna play the best players we have not assemble a team based on passports.

i'm trying to be harsh on the lad its just the way it is.
I saw him have one half decent game in a City shirt. He got chances but never took them. This says it all about his ability.
On a side note, we did spend years and millions trying to get him fit. If that's not nurturing a player i don't know what is.
