Arabian Goggles said:Wilshere is the best current English prospect, i can't think of any other current Englishman with the potential with that of Wilshere at the current moment. So what the OP is saying is that Arsenal (a team who basically over inflate all prices for all their players) will be willing to sell England's current brightest prospect for 6-8 million quid, sorry but your having laugh. I wouldn't mind Wilshere here, basically he will provide good consistent backup, lets not forget he is starting at a mid table premiership team at the moment. As for Cole, was really good in his younger days but currently he has lost that edge he had, so don't really rate him at the moment. He can't do anything Stevie Ireland can't do.
Add to that we are a team who are not blessed with many english players as well. To sell one of our own when he has the potential to become the best english player in 4-5 years time is unthinkable. Wilshere together with Gibbs and Ramsey are nailed on Arsenal players for many many years.
He's just a boy with raw talent, but he hasnt played for us one minute in the league and when he went to Bolton and Wiess went the same time, most arsenal fans felt what a waste as he wont get a game. Im very suprised he has got games ahead of Wiess and how well he has done. I dont think he will get many games next season for us and can see him loaned to get more experience. He has players like fabregas, nasri and ramsey ahead of him. But one thing arsenal will do with unlike what Chelsea did with j.cole, we will encourage him to express himself. J.Cole is the most gifted english player of his genartion, and he could have become much better if Mourinho didnt take most of his flair from him and made him more of a solid hard worker. Some may say thats a good thing, but look at messi, sometimes when special young players come through, you have to let them express themselves and not always be disciplined
