Kicker reporting a 7m euro fee.

Actually, I think it's a great move for him personally - great coach, fantastic club. Just hope he can keep his feet on the ground.

Getting the #7 is quite significant. Will be a first teamer, might even see him in the Champions League. Wish him the best and genuinely hope he makes it.

According to Kicker in Germany we've gotten €7m for this, and he never went AWOL - the clubs negotiated the price happily in order to avoid a messy divorce.

Also if they've spent €7m on him, makes more sense why he's got their number 7 shirt straight away.

It's still weird he didn't train for like 3 weeks, isn't it? But of course, if this move was always on the cards then I can hardly blame him if he wanted out... It's just that he should have trained at least for that time. But he's a kid anyway so there is no point in calling him names etc.

Really happy for him. Gutted he didnt want to stay but I take back my negative comments previously. More young lads should move abroad for opportunities if it means playing time. City have not shown a good track record and with their transfer pursuits they have not suggested the future will offer him chances.

Dortmund are a great side which develop players. I wish him all the best and hope he improves there and plays for England. Perhaps he felt he could push his way into the senior squad for the world cup... if he is no7 and plays there, he just might (heads to bookies to put bet on)

You can't blame him really. For all Pep's hype of Foden, three weeks into the season he's back with the EDS whilst Delph makes the bench vs Bournemouth

Did i read we get less if he goes abroad? Who's feeder club in the prem are these Hmmmmmmm
Liverpool? We will have to wait and see...

great move for him. he has a great opportunity now with dortmund and they are good bringing through young players. unfortunately until we get a youth player in the first team and actually give them proper chances this will happen.

Nah he did defo go Awol. Could be German press doing some pr stuff there.

Ffs, this is going to come back. He is the best kid I have ever seen. Can t blame him, he thinks he is ready and he wants to play. The problem is with us not giving them enough playing time. All the best Sancho and I hope in 2 years time you will make us pay 100m for you.

not even the best in his own age group. Let's see what he's made of. I wouldn't want him back even if he became the greatest striker of all time. You get one shot at respect and class.

Don't expect him to have a significant impact straight away. He will get some minutes, as he would have if he stayed.

Will be interesting to see how he goes. Wouldnt totally shock me to see him back in England next season.
