Jadon Sancho

No but I'm not passing it off as fact that Dortmund offered Sancho less money. That was you with the DM as your source.

DM are quoting Sterling in on 300k a week, I don't take that as fact either.

I've sourced my claim. DM have no reason to lie about his Dortmund wages. Up to you to provide an alternative source if you want to counter claim.

Because we love Pep, lets blame Pellegrini.

While Pep is here the club lost 4 of the best talents the club have produced in the last 8 years.

Sancho, Diaz & Maffeo while he only will succeed to keep Foden.

Pep is the best manager ever, but he like to play it safe and buy established players instead of taking some risk on exceptional young talents.

Nah let's blame him.because he was shite & used kids like a First World War General.

Daily Mail no reason to lie, that aint a source. Lets bring this debate to a close.

No, it isn't. My original point was that Sancho moved to Dortmund for less money than City had offered. I've evidenced that point.

You haven't given any evidence to the contrary.

It doesn't matter whether they are ever good enough for Stockport County.

They were two of the best kids in England, and they were two of the best kids in the England international team at their age group.

They deserved to get reasonable time on the pitch, for City & didn't get it

They would almost certainly have got it, at the swamp. If they then disappear, doesn't matter. They were seen to be given a decent chance when they deserved it.

If two of the best English kids can barely get 5 mins on the pitch when in top form, the ones coming through behind them will be concerned, as you would be in that position, that they also won't get any playing time.

It's obvious.

Aside from Rashford, who seemed to only get in the side after a freak number of injuries, when did united last give a 17 or 18 year old a decent number of minutes? And how many of them of them have gone on to hold a place down in that team?

i have a feeling the wage offer from city in the new deal was a basic deal with little to not much if any bonus like playing first team football and with pep and city already said he will not be in the first team squad and not ready so no chances of first team football and the fees it comes with, Dortmund wages and the deal they offered him would have a basic plus add-on's and its going to be better because Dortmund said he would be in the first team squad and maybe a new deal after the first 6 months

Not sure that I can worry too much about your opinions , as at best they are generally weird .

Diaz is still at City btw .

That is not NK's argument though.

It's that they get a chance in the team, but as with everything rag, they are always over-hyped and generally average at best.

Is this a Clarkie or are you seriously quoting the Daily Mail as evidence? Its a fucking comic that makes shit up for click bait.

A bloke down the pub said Jadeon was offered a huge signing on fee from Dortmund, that's as valid as your "evidence"

The same paper that quotes Jadeon is now valued at 100m, laughable.

But i get a sense though that we overhype our own players. There's plenty of players who have been hyped as standout players who haven't kicked on over the years from lots of clubs.

Roberts and Barker have spent time with Pep and the first team squad and they havent been deemed ready for first team minutes. They went on loan and haven't done enough there either. Looking good at under 18 level doesn't always translate into being a top level player and by the same token players who don't look like they're going to make the grade at that level can be late bloomers.

You get teenagers who have these incredible show reels because they're quick or good dribblers and up against other kids. Once they're physically developed though and also required to show a top level attitude and reading of the game they can drop off.
