Jadon Sancho

Literally the only way we’d see multiple players come through is a transfer ban. That said I think Foden is being brought through well.

Who would you sell to make room for more young players? Sterling? Sane? Stones? Laporte? Not a dig it’s just an outstanding squad.
Nobody.

How about KDB, Bernardo Silva, Mendy etc this week & of course Bravo, where we have an untried keeper who would be first choice for every game, if Ederson got injured, yet people were scared of Brandon Barker getting ten minutes here & there under Pellegrini, in case it 'cost us'

Always the same couple posters, you know who you are.

Quite honestly I couldn’t give 2 fucks about our kids. One or two will make it, many won’t. So what. We generate enough revenue to buy them ready made.

It’s not there to produce players for the first team. It’s not there for reputation. It’s there to make a profit and that it will do in time, if it’s not already.

Couldn’t give a flying fuck what the scum cnuts do with people like Rashford. Couldn’t give a fuck about rep.

We are fucking miles ahead of them on and off the pitch.

Unless the rules were to change of course, then we wouldn't be able to 'buy them ready made' or indeed win the title, or anything else, without them.

But who gives a fuck ? The FA, politicians & the cartel would never dream of doing anything which changes our situation.

We can rely on them to look after us.

Foden is only 18. That is very young to be playing top level football. How many 18 years olds do, I mean right at the top end of the game!! Too much football to young is also a bad thing. The two big ones I remember were Owen and Rooney. Both pretty much ended up finished in their mid 20s. We need to be careful with him. I understand the desire to see him get more games but it’s a fine line to get it right. I’d say games off the bench at 18 is about right. The odd start here and there. Maybe ten starts next year. To expect more now is a bit fanciful imo

That is all people were asking for kids to get, prior to Pep arriving.

But we had all that 'quality' keeping them out.

I don’t disagree. The issue is though that even with KDB and Gundogan injured Foden is only on the bench. Not a problem for me personally but for others it is. Had Sancho signed his contract he’d be there too. Our squad is so good even Kompany and Otamendi get left out of the 16.

There will come a point, if Foden continues to progress, where he is as good, or almost as good, as his rival.

At that point, he will most likely start to get preferential treatment, due to being homegrown, same as Busquets v Yaya at Barca. If he never reaches that level, he will likely be sold on for decent money after spending a few years as a squad player.

Either way, is good for the club, as he is then seen to be getting a chance & other kids are encouraged to follow.

I think he’ll be starting regularly next year and getting some more starts next month. Personally I hope we go deep in the cups to give as many opportunities as possible.

I agree with that too. I do think he had a chance had he been given it.

Me too.

He is the kind of kid who needed a boost/kick up the arse at the right moment & there was an obvious period of time where everything was perfectly alligned & most managers & clubs, would have got him on the pitch there & then.

And he wasn't the only one who peaked at a very high level & got no reward at the time.

Pep is getting it right with Foden imo, so long as his opportunities increase as we go along.
