I can see him going to the rags it’s the only way they can get one over on us these days going for players we’re after plus I reckon the lad will want to show pep what he let go and no better way of doing it than down the road. If he does go just hope it goes to shit same as sanchez and fred
 
Isn't there a clause that if he signs for united we get 40% of the fee rather than 10% or something? This would mean they'd have to outbid anyone else by a long way for dortmund to consider them, if true.

Your desire to highlight an 18 year old kid's 'lack of discipline' & use it to ignore the quality of his first half performance, is ridiculous tbh.

If he was a City player, on loan, we would be raving about him on here & rightly so.

You're assessment of his performance as being "great" is ridiculous tbh. No assist, no goal, piss poor 2nd half resulting in substitution.
As I already previously quoted Barnes from Leicester City caused Spurs more problems last weekend.

You continually moan about Diaz, Sancho etc, probably Maffeo and Celina before them. Why can't you just enjoy the most successful period in the clubs history instead of your constant sniping about youth development.

Thats diaz. All we have wirh sancho is if we match the fee we have first refusal! Cant see Sancho wanting to come back to us. He has set his sites on one of the big spain sides if he gets to high standard he has a chance.

I can enjoy what we do right, whilst having an opinion on what we get wrong.

But we could close the forum I suppose & start one for cheerleaders.

I didn't call you a cheerleader.

I was reacting to the idea that you think I should be one & that having an opinion that there are things we can do better, is wrong.

I enjoyed watching City's youth teams since the 60s & don't bother anymore because there is no point.

I'm not about to apologise to you, for being unhappy about how that has turned out & wanting to see improvement.

Whatsmore, I recon a lot of people will be saying the same in the years to come uless there is a change.

Prices of average players are going through the roof.

And....Why cant you just enjoy this " most succesful period" without jumping into the sancho thread to berate another Blue for daring to discuss one of our former youth team players?

This isnt the official site ..where dumb down zombies nod at every thing the club do and shout hurrah.its all about opinions on here,and weather the club is succesful or shite,some of us will always refuse to be sheep and offer critical analysis.i hope that clarifies things for you.

I completely agree with KK .i,m not sure if you are being serious about barnes at leicester.we already have a mid- table level wide player from crappy leicester who effectively blocked an avenue to the first team for several of our youngsters....,are you serioulsy advocating the purchase of another?
