It's funny, I was remembering back to the (second) Laporte thread and the contingent who didn't want us to go back in for him because he "had his chance and turned us down". Don't hear from them too much anymore though.

I will admit i was one of those who did not want us to go back in for Laporte, it is not that i did not rate him and i knew he could adapt to the EPL from what i saw of him, i wanted VVD but i am very happy with Peps choice, i did not want us to go back in for Mangala either, and i do not want us to go after Sancho, Sane,and Sterling are better Braaf for me will get better and there is always another coming through every year, how much will he cost £ 100 million? personally i would take the 20% or 40% for utd, Sancho is a good player massively over hyped and over priced even before we get mentioned
 
Heard it from someone who knows Sancho that hes not interested in coming back to City, he wants to go to Chelsea. Depends on where Chelsea end up spending though I would imagine if that deal gets done.

That's very disappointing, he was the one signing I really hoped we'd make in summer. I don't know who else would actually improve us from an attacking sense.

Disappointed but take the 20m well get from the deal and put if towards someone else
