I find it very disappointing where not in for him to be honest.
Were losing sane a great player and not even seemingly bothering with a great talent that we foolishly let go.
Even worse hes ended up at the Rags.
Absolutely crazy.

We didn't let him go, let alone foolishly. If he wants to go to the rags then it sums him up as a human being.

Well we will just have to disagree, I think Pep should be looking to sign him.

We did let him go....

If we really wanted to keep him, we could have - no need to defend the club, they fucked up on this one.

He'd have gone for free if we hadn't sold him. We haven't fucked up, like Leroy he's a disloyal splitter so there's nothing you can do with these types.

If we are to stay ahead (ish) of the pack we shouldn't be inadvertently letting a former player join the Rags.
Shouldn't be happening period.

We're not inadvertently letting him go there. We can hardly go "Jadon, you're coming back" if he doesn't want to, and that's if we even wanted him which we don't because his personality perfectly suits the egos of the 5th placed rags.

sturridge was an arrogant twat who was a bench player at all the clubs he went to! Talented? Absolutely but huge ego and not a team player.

This ^. Many people working at the City Academy were pleased to see the back of Sturridge I was told.

The reason Sancho left is because he lost faith in the club bringing him through, because no academy player has become a regular starter since Micah 14 years ago.

And not only that, but while they were negotiating his new contract, the club were very publicly trying to sign Alexis Sanchez for a club record fee that summer, so he thought like everyone else that with Sanchez, Sané and Sterling he wasnt going to get any meaningful playing time any time soon.

Hes not disloyal because he left, he was smart. Phil has been the anointed golden child of the academy and hes played fewer league minutes in his life than Sancho will in the next fortnight.

The club lost Sancho because of 10+ years of failure at the club to either give the kids coming through a chance, or produce kids good enough.

I think they have the highest wage bill in England, and they have no problem continue doing so.

In what way is having the highest wage bill of 23 Million a Month a positive during a worldwide pandemic?

You do realise they are over 420M in debt, and that debt needs servicing? You do realise they have just loaned and additional 140M for cash flow?

You do realise they are hardest hit financially by not having fans in the stadium? They earned 111M from matchday's in 18/19, thats double our matchday income.

And you think they are in a position to spend 100M on Sancho, as well as the other players they will need?

A disloyal splitter? The kid was 16? 17? His agent put a word in his ear and he obviously saw no future at City, it's not like he's a boyhood Mancunian etc. We bought him as a teenager and he moved on for what was a good fee at the time. The club fucked it by not getting him tied down earlier but I don't begrudge him for moving elsewhere. If he ends up at the rags, thats our fuck up and why wouldn't he go there? He'd be their best player by a mile!

As for Sane, he's not said a word publicly and handed in no transfer request. He's a young German lad with his mother and the entire Bayern operation in his ear. He deserved the exact same terms as Raheem after 17/18 and wasn't offered them evidently. He wanted more games in early 18/19 when Pep dropped him. Yet now some city fans are crying for his head because he's off to Bayern? Unfair imo

no, it ain't, it's his fault for being morally bankrupt enough to move to them.

He made his swamp, he can live in it, I'll save my energy for the people who want to be here.

Why wouldn't we be in for him? He's exactly what we need, especially if Sané leaves.

Young, home-grown, already brilliant with potential to be world class. We should be all over him!

We re-signed Angelino after letting him go even though he's shit, so it's not like we are averse to getting players back.

In my opinion it would be a huge mistake by the club not to at least try very hard to sign Sancho.

It would also be extremely unpalatable if he went to play for that shit at Trafford; can you imagine the media hype, the pillorying of City for 'letting him go, now look at him for their rivals', etc from the likes of Sky. Not to mention he's a bloody good player and I'd hate to see them strengthened so much while we weaken by losing Sané.

Cant argue with any of the above sadly. Peps lack of faith in Sancho is his biggest mistake
Luckily he doesnt make many.

You've kind of changed my opinion on Sancho together with seeing how little playing time Foden has had this season, despite Silva quite clearly struggling to keep up with the pace in some games, I'd be very frustrated if I had their talent as well.

Thinking of next season I think Garcia's more than ready to be given the opportunity to partner Laporte, if we brought in someone like Koulibaly, I would fuck off and get myself playing time elsewhere in his situation.

Sancho was not an academy player who lost faith, merely a mercenary who moved on & judging how he handles himself as a professional, even at 20, I expect him to move around quite a bit in his career
