James Bond Films. Are They All That?

Think they should just scrap them now as they are getting much further away from Flemings brilliant books. Craig looks nothing like Bond (he's not tall, he's not dark, and he's funny looking) and I think the next one will be even further away due to ticking boxes/virtue signaling.

When I read all the books, my vision (and his description) of Bond was Sean Connery to a T. (A tall dark and handsome guy with an underlying toughness that you wouldn't fuck with)

They should just come up with a different spy not ruin the Fleming legacy. I mean, M was never a woman.

After a bout of PTSD therapy. Bond decided to identify as female and made arrangements to change sex paid for by M15 as part of their new gender inclusiveness policy. Her new boss LGBTQ, who identifies as They/Them sends Jane on her most dangerous mission yet.

Cocktopussy - Starring Dylan Mulvaney as Jane Bond will start filming in the spring for an expected cinematic release in July 2025.

Predictable. Bond never dies, even after dodging bullets, bombs, missiles, hand to hand combat, numerous vehicle crashes, etc.

Bond doesn't need to live because the could be a fresh timeline. Which they basically always was when they cast a new actor as the lead.

They confused things with having the same actors playing Q and M appear in different Bond timelines but nobody really cared much about cannon at that point.

I wouldn't have described Connery to Moore as a new timeline.

However, I agree they may well just go to a new timeline; however, I just floated an alternative idea.

I guess it depends in some way on whether they want to ditch the current M, Q and Moneypenny; all of whom are good characters / actors.

Love Bond Movies apart from when Brosnan was Bond, thought he was terrible.

Daniel Craig started incredibly with Casino Royale, but sadly ended with for me the worst bond film of all time in No Time To Die, complete and utter crap and shows you should NEVER give an actor a big say in making a movie.

Why the *uck would you kill James Bond FFS what were they thinking?

A scouser fan wanting to be centre of attention, whatever next. Just glad Danny Boyle didn’t agree with it.
