James McAtee

Not sure another year at Sheff Utd is going to help him much. :-(
I think it's ideal myself. It's an automatic step up with the consistency of a team he already knows how to play in. The only issue is arguably going from a team that's expecting to win to a team that's trying not to lose.

He won't make it at City after a second loan spell. Either Sheffield United stay up and they'll sign him permanantely or he has a decent spell in the Premier League and he gets a good move from that.

It’s not the same team though, they’ve made signings and as you say, they’ll lose most of their games.

Bournemouth would have been better. At least their manager follows Pep’s philosophy.

We’ll see though. He might get 15 assists and be POTS for them.

It has a feel that we see Oscar Bobb as the most talented of the academy three - Palmer, McAtee and Oscar himself

Yeah, I think Bobb can be great.

But I also think it’s about expectation.

Palmer and McAtee should expect many minutes at this stage.

Bobb doesn’t, so he is easier to convince to stay.

On the plus side, Bobb is very similar to Bernie on the RW, and if we lose Bernie in like 2 years, then Bobb is the natural replacement. Assuming he progressed over these 2 years.

Unless your Phil foden - generational talent good, it seems impossible to make it at city

I don’t count Lewis in that yet as he’s not a first team regular
