If Loan’s a great deal tho with a slight danger of them not getting minutes, particularly delap, if permanent I would probably take 15 mil with a buy back for delap considering the injuries, not sure about selling mcatee but without a new deal it’s probably on the cards

Yeah, Delap is a weird link, they have 3 strikers already inc one on loan. (so they only have 1 loan spot open)
 
I don’t think delap would get in over adams tbh, I think they’d be after cover with him. Delap only really makes sense to them as a permanent move

and we just tied him down to 2025. Makes no sense for him to move this Jan, maybe the mean in the summer if they cant keep Broja.
 
Seen someone on Twitter suggest Chelsea could be interested in recalling Broja with the Lukaku stuff and in that situation maybe Southampton want Delap but idk

The only benefit of it is just keep the player happy for playing time, getting their skill developed and matured ? doubtfull.
 
I think waiting till after the swindon game makes sense before any decision is made, could get minutes there.
 
I’m not sure if McAtee is committed to City, I thought I read somewhere his family would have preferred him to go to the other lot but the City Academy was better. There was a transfer rumour that Untied or the Dippers were interested a while back

I think he was at United with his brother and left when he got cut. Family are mostly reds so the noise will always be there. Pretty sure hes confirmed as a city fan himself.

He definitely used to be at the United academy as a kid with his older brother, and they both left at a similar time - James coming to City.

No idea on his allegiances, although I’m pretty sure his brother is a red.
 
I don’t think a loan to Southampton would be a good idea. I don’t think either of them would play enough and I think it would persuade them to want permanent moves.

Swansea would be better
