Hang on......let's not give a 19yr old kid a label he doesn't deserve.He may be a bit more reserved than others,maybe not even mix as much,but there is nothing to suggest he is a "sulker'.

He can improve,part of that improvement would definitely be how he applies and handles himself,but let's at least allow time and experience to do such before he becomes a target for criticism.

He came through at Barcelona as a RW, Pep moved him to false 9, then he's gone back to the RW.

The role of the old fashioned number 10 behind a striker doesn't exist in many teams any more.

He was deservedly dropped from the starting lineup but got some minutes as a sub. He will need to work hard and take his opportunities when they come. The Blades are top of their league and it will suit McAtee to play for a team on the front foot. There is plenty of time and games left to play before any judgements about the loan can be made.

Agreed, given his natural talent this is going to be a test of his mental and physical development and when he gets in that team he needs to impose himself in an adult football environment and learn to maximise his knowledge of different types of teams and different tactical ideas. He will be a much more rounded player if he works hard as you say and he will be of much more value to City, if he returns as a more mature and experienced young man.

While it is far too early to say this is a bad loan or he is even out of favour,James needs to recognise what he currently brings to the table might not quite be good enough in a team like Sheffield's.

Doyle is looking far more comfortable because he has that extra energy and aggression to his game,he always appears to have a fire in his belly and he demands the ball.He is also a natural leader and inspiration.

IMO,those are qualities that are essential to be successful at a loan club and especially in a technically limited environment.

For many reasons,ultimately,this experience will do the kid the world of good.
