James McLean

Not sure if I understand. British (English) history is well documented. We've buggered up America, India, Afganistan, Russia, China, Ireland, Scotland, Wales etc...........If any country leaves out their own naughtiness and just blames us for everything then they are being untrue to themselves.
Ah, it was all the fault ilof those pesky colonies for not acquiescing.
Good to see that the British education system is still churning them out.

So you infer that the Irish only view their history back to a certain point...therefore hiding "naughtiness" comparable to that of the English?

Go ahead, gimme what you got...

Comparable to the English ? Did I really say that ? Must go back in time and read what I wrote. Then again I could just leave it there and not mention my previous posts. History eh ?

Well you listed the "naughtiness" of the English...and you are saying the Irish choose to leave out or ignore parts of their history, and just blame the English....that, to me, suggests you think the irish are just as bad

Do I really need to? You say you've no axe to grind and then post an antagonistic message with a mass generalisation included.
Antagonistic ? Mass generalisation ? James McLean is talking about Bloody Sunday if anyone is posting about Mass generalisation its you. This comment goes to Mr Gloves as well. Hope this clears up the misunderstanding. There must have been atrocities committed during the Irish Civil War. We all know what happened during the Famine at the same time one quarter of the people of Lancashire were wiped out due to Scarlet Fever . We don't talk about that.
