Ah, it was all the fault ilof those pesky colonies for not acquiescing.Not sure if I understand. British (English) history is well documented. We've buggered up America, India, Afganistan, Russia, China, Ireland, Scotland, Wales etc...........If any country leaves out their own naughtiness and just blames us for everything then they are being untrue to themselves.
Good to see that the British education system is still churning them out.

Well you listed the "naughtiness" of the English...and you are saying the Irish choose to leave out or ignore parts of their history, and just blame the English....that, to me, suggests you think the irish are just as bad

Hope this clears up the misunderstanding. There must have been atrocities committed during the Irish Civil War. We all know what happened during the Famine at the same time one quarter of the people of Lancashire were wiped out due to Scarlet Fever . We don't talk about that.Do I really need to?
