James Milner (Merged)

Re: City close in on Milner

By far one of the most outstanding young players in the PL today.
£24M so what !!!!!!!!!!!!
Excellent buy and a superb versatile player who would give us more options,in various positions.
Always loved SWP, Ireland and Richards, but hes well worth cash plus a swap with any of these.
WHO SAID NEDUM ?????????
Piss off !! Hes well worth keeping and a TRUE BLUE who knows what its like to come through the ranks and LOVES HIS BLUES through and through !!!!!!!!!!!

They paid £12 million for him and since then he has had an excellent season therefore if anyone other than City wanted to buy him they would be looking at around £18-£20 million. £24 million from us is just about right I would suggest.

Mancini won't go stupid with money, he is more money smart then hughes

Doesn't need to go stupid now ...we have enough 'make weights' who will be going the other way I'm sure.

RSC / Ireland / SWP / Ned / Petrov? / Richards / Robinho / Garrido / Etuhu / Johnson / Bojinov / Caicedo / Jo / Benjani and maybe even Bellers who knows

All of these will want to play first team footie and may not get it under Manciti
