James Milner

Definitely. Milner is Zidane.

Come back in 2014 and lets see where we stand,
Far from a Zidane. Milner is a hard working lad who plays football with limited ability, he makes up for what he may lack in technical/natural ability with sheer hardwork. Today he was absolutely superb, all over the pitch with his desire and hard work, I thought he was our MOTM today but there were a few candidates, so pleased to see Milner get a well deserved goal, long may he continue in the stating eleven.

I saw the line up and thought please Mancini, play a 4-2-3-1 and give Milner his role.

Straight away when i saw the players at KO set up, and he was midfield with Barry. I was delighted, best player on the pitch. He was everywhere and anywhere, outstanding, so what if he's not the most skilful, his job is too do the dirty work with Barry and let Yaya and CO do the rest.

If Milner doesn't play at West Brom along side Barry then it's a farce, what can Milner do to convince Mancini he should play? If today wasn't enough he may aswell give up.

I've banged on about it for months on end and finally i saw him where he should play, i'm really pleased for the lad and he'll be buzzing. I'd start Barry and Milner in the centre every single time, for the rest of the season. With Yaya infront it's lethal, mixed midfield with skill, power and energy. We'll never lose a midfield battle.

I thought it was fantastic when the whole ground sang 'there's only one james milner', just after the MOTM award came on the PA. I think that was the fans way of saying no it should of been Milner, and i bet he felt really good. He needs a run of games, drop him at West Brom and you've ruined the momentum.

Happy he scored aswell, well deserved.

No, I think it was the fans' way of saying well played, Jimmy. We did the same at the 6-1 last season.

Gives you some cover in the midfield but unlike Garcia and Rodwell he actually offers you something going forward. I would definitely keep the same midfield three we played today against West Brom.

thought kolarov, barry and milner were all absolutely superb. silva was fantastic too.
barry played a first time pass in the second half to the right wing that was out of this world.
and people think he is shit. unbelievable .

milner lacks any sort of class, he's just a grafter.

he was poor throughout today, up until his free kick in the 90th minute and a couple of good tackles in injury time.

he's a squad player at best and mancini knows this.

the serious issue here though is all the wankers who leave before the whistle.

hmmmmmmmmmm?

Well it must be the name Benny, just like Benny Hill and that lad in a bob hat on crossroads you make me laugh. Milner did every thing a few others who have started ahead of him this season such as pass to a blue shirt Tackle and go forward.
