James Milner

Played well today but it was against Sunderland. I'd expect him to play well.

not here for an argument, just thought i'd put a few giddy people on the thread right about his performance.

his best game for us was the 6-1 demolition job, other than that i can't remember him ever having a good game.

everything in the first 85 minutes today almost came off for him but not quite. every attempted cross was blocked and everytime he got in their box he couldn't quite keep it in.

as i said he's a solid player but he lacks the speed or class to be a regular starter.

richards, zabaleta, kolarov for man of the match today, in that order.

well thats not true, debut, liverpool at home. best player on the park that night. had many good games , if you asked when gareth barry had a good game for city, it'd be hard to point individual ones out

its not worth saying he didnt play well if he was playing on the wing, hes not a fxxking winger he never gonna go past players like johnson or swp, hes a great centre mid, are you telling me he couldn't do the job garcia been brought in to do, thats not slagging garcia off by the way, and rodwell for that matter, what does it say about how good he is when could you imagine ndj who i loved rodwell garcia .......... even being considered on the wing, give the lad a run and see

Sunderland are no mugs and after sitting on the bench for 4-5 games he did very well, pleased for him.

While he was everywhere his end product was quite poor today, as usual.

end product ? like scoring a goal.

ycmiu

He scored a freekick when there was no pressure on him with the ball. A lot different to open play - he continually makes the wrong choices in the final third, or takes too long to make that choice and has his ball blocked.
