James Milner

James Milner 3 words - never gives up!

I love watching him and zaba, they challenge for everything and always want to be first to everything! is great to see a young lad with such desire to win everything... great to see him fit again, dare i say we didn't miss yaya today as much as i thought we would as milner and barry ran the show ?

I think Jimmy has played himself into our best team. He creates more space for Silva.

We are more direct with him in the side which is no bad thing.

This for sure. He stays wider than Nasri and puts direct balls into the box instead of short passes. We were suffering from trying to walk it into the net until Milner got back in the side.

Not only that, but when we don't have the ball, Jimmy is everywhere trying to get it back.

The lad has such a fantastic engine, he will run all day.

Milner and Barry were awesome today. Constantly breaking up Arsenal's play, and contributing to our forward play.

We've got to carry on with these two in our team from now on!

James has been in this league for ten years now yet he has the best years of his career still ahead of him as he's only twenty-five years old. The guy is just brilliant. He plays like a fan would play, like every single action he does and every blade of grass he covers really matters. He rarely puts a foot wrong. He isn't a dirty player. He never dives. He never moans about the fact he's not always in the starting XI. He never moans about playing out of position (his best position is central midfield). There was a picture of the squad training at Carrington last season in the freezing cold and James was the only player in just t-shirt and shorts (everyone else had snoods, traccy bottoms, wooly hats, jumpers, training zip-up tops etc. on).

Needless to say; I fucking love James Milner. It's good to see a thread about a player that gets more than four or five pages of praise when there is a certain other player who has got about two hundred pages of praise (as well as about the same amount of shit, it must be said) when he literally does fuck all compared to the likes of Milner.

I remember him playing against us - I think it was for Newcastle - when we first moved to COMS and a woman behind me kept screaming "Fuck Off Milner you spotty twat" every time he came down the wing with the ball.

He puts a lot of effort and heart into the club he has a very good cross and shooting abilty he can also play centre as well very handy
