There's absolutely nowt wrong with running your contract down and getting a nice signing in fee at a new club.
He was a very good utility player for us, at times brilliant (MOTM or amongst our best players in many of our biggest games, PL and CL), he owed us nowt.

I wouldn't ever want an ex-player to not celebrate a goal against us. I actually hate it when I see players not celebrating goals against their old clubs. Get fucking celebrating!He scored against Villa and didn't celebrate. He scored against us and took the piss. Whatever his beef with the club was, the fans always backed him 100% and he spat that support right back in our face. So fuck him, I hope he never wins another fucking game, let alone another trophy.
The fact he did celebrate against us and not Villa doesn't bother me one bit.
Plus that might have been aimed at just one man, he didn't exactly run in front of the East Stand with his arms outstretched did he?

Never rated Milner one bit , everything that is wrong with English football, we rate workrate and endeavour over any real skill, bang average at best but runs a lot, Gareth Barry is still a better player, limited physically but with a better footballing brain, just my opinion

Nice guy Milner by all accounts was an asshole if you asked some of the staff working at City. I heard first hand how he berated a young steward for apparently damaging his Aston Martin and other players had to calm him down, as if the poor lad drove Aston Martins every day and was used to them.
He got everything he wished for, and is the mr. mediocre he didnt think he was.

What a c***. I've never heard of anybody getting angry when somebody damages their car! The temerity of James Milner. Personally I would have given the kid a percentage of my yearly salary if somebody was kind enough to damage my car for me.
