James Milner

Grow up.
Choosing to be teetotal isnt a reason to criticise,or even abuse someone, especially when the choice is made by a professional athlete, probably in an effort to be the best he can be and prolong his career.

well said.
Milner was instrumental in us reaching new heights, never shirked his responsibilities and was a top pro. He got a round of applause off me.

Think you've misunderstood him mate. He's saying him being teetotal isn't a reason to boo or dislike him. I suspect he thinks there are plenty of legitimate reasons to boo the ****.

Wanted to create a new thread on this for the exposure, rather than let it die in the Milner thread.

I think the Cutter needs to set the prick straight.

Milner is a ****. one of the reasons he gave for wanting to leave us is that he wanted a central midfield role. Maybe Rodgers promised him that as Gerrard was off to America. Yet here the **** is playing full back and seemingly happy to do so. He's a jack of all trades and master of none.. He's not good enough for central mid. When he's retired and looks at his trophy haul it'll all be from playing for us. Not the current L'pool side he claims is better. The writer of that article in the mirror is a bigger **** than Milner.

I noticed he was the only Liverpool player to walk over to their fans and clap them at the end. He can't help himself

Can anyone link the articles of the comments he is supposed to have actually made? All I've heard is from other fans saying he disrespected the club, and slagged us off?

I would rather see it from the horses mouth.

Here's 3 links to be going on with.

You'll have a long wait.
So I found the MEN article.

The worst he says is " as a team this is probably the best team I've played in." He then goes on to explain that Man City were also a top side and " arguably had more standout individual players"

Think what he's saying is that the collective team is better, now I would agree that Liverpool are definitely greater than a sum of there parts.

Now if that's all he's said to upset the booers then you need to get thicker skin.

The booing made us look just as bad as Liverpool and Arsenal fans booing their ex players.

As for celebrating in front of your ex clubs fans I'm all for that. I would want to see Raheem losing his shit when he eventually scores against them.

Which he is entitled to do after the abuse he's got from them, as was Adebayor when he celebrated after scoring for us against Arsenal. You give back what you get and Milner's only ever had respect from us previously.
