Not a lover of Stannage myself but loved James H and Dave Ward together on the morning show. Loved Dave Ward with Umberto too. Piccadilly 261 or Piccadilly Gold were great in those days.

Stannage used to drink in Stalybridge buffet station bar on Tuesday's. First time i heard his voice i knew it was him straight away. Very opinionated and quite funny, i found him an ok guy.
