You know, I was about to make a topic on this. I have thought he has been a surprisingly good pundit over the years but some of the bitter shite he has come out with tonight has turned him into a complete joke.

"City just aren't themselves."
"This is not normal City"
"City just aren't the same"
"City just don't look the best"

I could go on but I felt the game tonight was a slow game of chess and felt it was inevitable.

But we didn't look our best we were ordinary but the win was great.

I think being a 'leccy monkey' may refer to the relatively new town of Skelmersdale or 'Skem'.
When the town was new, one half was powered by gas and the other half by electricity, or 'leccy'.
Not sure about the monkey part, possibly it means rogue or something similar.

A man after my own heart, in fact when the PL games are on Amazon I change the audio to "Stadium FX" so I don't havce to listen to the commentators
