Can't see any coming in January though, unless it's with a loan back for the rest of the season.De Jong
Ndombele
Neves.
That's my order of preference. But I'll take any of them.

Yep, that's what I believe will happen tooCan't see any coming in January though, unless it's with a loan back for the rest of the season.
According to Transfermarkt he's primary right winger but can also play left winger or attacking midfielder. Anyone seen him in action?City WatchVerified account @City_Watch 9h9 hours ago
Manchester City want to sign £5m-rated Japan midfielder Ritsu Doan (20) from FC Groningen in January. City have been tracking the player for some time and have been impressed. Juventus and Atletico Madrid are also interested. [Mirror]

Looks nice, Im not sure he is good enough for city but we will get support from 127 million Japanese fans so economically it sounds good :)
That's my order of preference as well, but if we get down to Neves I would actually prefer waiting until summer and signing Rabiot on a free rather than paying Wolves the crazy money they'd be after in January. Of the three Ndombele is the only one I could actually see moving this window.De Jong
Ndombele
Neves.

Two very different types of CM players as are Gudun and Ferdy, in my opinion we will need both soon and should buy both before next season, if only one then FDJ as he has the ability to be the best deep lying play maker in the would, and there is always another top quality box to box that Ndombele isNdombele is my preference from the limited amount I've seen of him and FdJ.
Sort your keyboard out Dax :)In terms of similarity to the current, sure Ndombele is most like Fernandihno. Perhaps a better dribbler and technical passer of the ball. Similar athletic ability, similar bite in the tackle. So I truly can see why folks might favor Ndombele. It's a bit similar to how a majority wanted Fabihno a few summers ago. Or Pogba for Yaya.
I call this the appeal to the similar. But when viewed through the prism of what Pep does and what Pep cherishes in a base Midfielder, FDJ is simply on a level above and beyond Ndombele for what we do.
This is not to suggest FDJ is better than Ndombele in a vacuum. He very well may not be. But for the problem Pep is trying to solve in today's game (The Gengen Press and other permutations of it), FDJ is significantly superior to Ndombele (or Dihno for that matter) in being a likely personel solution.
For all his flaws, all one needs to do is watch do Jorghino at Chelsea. He is a vastly inferior version of FDJ, and yet he is cobbling together Chelsea's Sarri ball.
We will win the Champions League with FDJ. This is not a big statement, seeing as we can win it as presently constituted. But I believe with FDJ our chances will double.
I believe Fernandihno has 2 more years of good foitbfoo in him. Albeit as a backup. Same also may be true for David. Albeit David probably has another year of starter in him, but I expect BernyBe to take over necn season as full time Starter, and David as first backup to him and Kev. All we need is a starter for Dihno, and I can see us winning 2 CLs in the next 4 years.
