I want us to go into next season with a squad looking like this;

Ederson, Gunn/Rulli

Walker, Maffeo
Stones, Kompany
Otamendi, Hernández
Mendy, Sessegnon

Fernandinho, Fred
Silva, Silva
De Bruyne, Foden

Sterling, Brahim
Agüero, Jesus
Sane, Bailey

It would probably cost £180 million with around £100mill on outgoings for Roberts, Delph, Gündoğan, Mangala, Danilo, Bravo and Zinchenko(plus any other Kids etc)
Why get rid of Delph?

Gundogan I feel still has a major role to play. A great squad player and with David Silva in his 30s Gudogan can do Silvas role too and has shown this season at times when he has a run of games. I feel he may get a few more games in the coming months.

I'm not entirely convinced by Ilkay if I'm being honest. He's been unlucky with injuries, but he's isn't in Ginger Kev or Spanish Dave's league. When the latter finally hangs his boots up we will need to spend big to get someone of his level.

Don't need sessegnon if we already have 2 quality left backs already. Just pointless. Also think we will sign a landmark forward this summer.

We don’t have 2 quality left backs. Getting Sessegnon now would mean we could make him Club trained and he has the potential to be one of the best fullbacks in the world.
I think the only way we go big for a forward is if we sell Kun.

Malcolm looks a player and at 20 and £35 mill he could be worth the risc, he can play champions league too.

Problem is, players of David Silvas class aren’t really great in number. Theres nobody out there right now we could really go for. Only players as good are prime modric/Iniesta.

That’s why I think we should be giving more game time to Silva Brahim and Foden, they all have the potential so why not help them progress to that level.

Anything from our resident ITK's int he last week?

I know TH said something about a striker/attacking wide player that already plays in the premier but that was for the summer? Did anyone work out who that was.

Is it going to be just JFE???

Pep on upcoming transfer plans: "We need to anticipate it now. We feel we need to invest in the summer, with three or four. If we do it now, we do it for the summer."

Pep: "We have the two strikers and we do not need another one in that position. Other players can play there in different circumstances. To buy a striker who can only play there: that is not going to happen."

Pep: "Sterling can play there. He did at Old Trafford and in the States in pre-season. He showed me that he can handle that pressure without problems. He's more of a winger, a number 10, but we are not going to buy a striker."

Interesting insight, lending weight to the idea eg with Fred, to buy now, and him come here in the summer. Im guessing the 3 or 4 in will replace leavers in those positions - Toure for example. Who are 2 or 3 others likely to go or whose contract is up?

Sounds to me like the club will happily buy our summer targets now if they can.

World Cup years are a pain to do transfer dealings in, same with the Euro’s.

It’s basically a 1/2 month window rather than 3.

Foden?
