Pep said he wouldn't sign a striker (or a no.9)......for Pep a striker is a very different player than a forward. Once Kun leaves whether it be this summer or the next and if Pep is still here we wont replace him with an out and out striker.....it will be someone in the Sanchez mould who can play anywhere along the front line....thats why we wont go for a player like Harry Kane (as long as Pep is here).

I dont think Ndombele would be that expensive, max 55m I think
 
So we are all agreed it is players with buy out clauses we are targeting to either get them in now or certainly tied up ready to sign in the summer. I thought Pep said 4 players so Laporte seems almost done Fred a little way to go Ndombele another with a release clause and Ghoulam for left back again with release clause. Taken together around 240m. Couple of youngsters such as Gomez cant complain about that I suppose :=)

No reports of him being a target. He is a defensive midfielder who plays for Lyon. Strong, quick, a good passer and a good tackler. Was MOTM against PSG last week
