Is the window shutting before the new season as well? Probably adds 10m to every players value to english buyers due to the desparation at an earlier deadline.

I dont even think we need that much. Probably naive and other teams will strengthen.

But (quality) cover for fernandinho is a must. Definitely has to be the priority (Fred probably). A reserve lb would be nice but with maffeo coming back hopefully to stay and delph id hope that covers us. Can see zinchenko being sold similar to iheanacho if he keeps getting minutes this season. A solid fourth/fifth choice experienced cb to replace mangala who we can hopefully move on. A raw pacey winger to add competition to sane and sterling. And then a third choice young striker. Happy to sit behind aguero and jesus for one season but then take on the responsibility after that.
Above that (in terms of quality and starters) is a bonus.

His agent is a complete wazzock though. Would love him here and think he would fit in seamlessly with the squad dynamic but don't think our board would tolerate the agent during the negotiations.

Is his agent not a relation? Leon Bailey Butler, Craig Butler?
 
Fabinhos father said last year that he has a soft spot for City, and Fabinho has said that this will be his last season with Monaco. Couldn't think of a better Yaya replacement

Yes I believe it is his father / step dad? I couldn't say I have a full understanding of the situation but I read a piece by a Jamaican the other day who said his father refuses to let Leon, or any of the players he represents, play for Jamaica unless he has a role in the process. So basically trying to leverage having talented clients to force his way into the national football setup. Not necessarily a problem for a club trying to sign him, but still an agent who throws his weight around this much doesn't bode especially well.

Personally I would love to have a first team player who wasn't involved in international football and actually got proper breaks! With the new European International League we will be looking at an international tournament every single summer for some of our big players (provided they don't do awfully) and that scares me - even if every other year its a smaller one it still cuts into their holidays.

Apparently a tweet saying we’ll pay Freds release clause has popped up.. not sure if it’s legit though..

PSV and AZ wanted him as well. Haven't seen him play either but loads of Dutch football fans i talked to have said he's been great this season. Probably only bought to make a profit on though.

Well look if it's a relative then he won't be shaken off. For me I don't actually rate the lad that highly so we should steer clear. He's all brawn and no brains.

He is bang average. But could be miles better with the right coaching. Either way the squad limit won't work.
