Matuidi just posted a picture of himself on Instagram pointing to the PSG badge - from that maybe we can assume he is staying at PSG?

If you're all saying we have targets in mind, why would City wait until the last days of January to get them???

Super agent' Mendes to aid City's Porto swoop Manchester City

Last updated: 17 minutes ago A Manchester City delegation is heading to Portugal for talks over £40m-rated Porto duo Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando. City officials are ready to splash the cash in the next 24 hours after going top of the Premier League and announcing record financial figures which indicate the club are on track to comply with Uefa's Financial Fair Play rules. Porto centre back Mangala is being targeted after City scoured the transfer market for a left-sided defender to replace Joleon Lescott, who wants to leave to get regular football. But 22-year-old Mangala is so highly-rated he could surpass Matija Nastasic in the pecking order and become a natural fit alongside Vincent Kompany, although he would be ineligible for City's Champions League clashes against Barcelona, having already appeared for Porto in the competition. The Frenchman recently changed agent to Jorge Mendes and City officials are due to meet the Portuguese 'super agent' on Thursday to broker a deal for the £30million-rated defender, who cost Porto £6m from Standard Liege in 2011. Midfielder Fernando, 26, is a Brazilian-born midfielder who recently became a Portuguese citizen - which greatly enhances his chances of a Premier League move. Manchester United are also said to be interested in him, but reports claim City are ready to broker a double deal with Porto that could net the Portuguese champions as much as £40million. by Taboola From the Web

At least maybe tomorrow may be interesting. Love a good transfer deadline day, especially when City are involved.

Unless it's bollocks and were just going to watch some poor man shivering in Beswick every 20mins saying "nothing new Jim".

Manchester City close in on stunning deadline-day double deal for Porto stars
Manchester City are in talks with Porto over signing their star duo Eliaquim Mangala and Fernando.

French defender Mangala, 22, is rated among the hottest prospects in European football and is understood be valued at around £35million.

Fernando is available for much less, with the 26-year-old Brazilian midfielder out of contract at the end of the season.

Porto were keen to keep hold of the duo until the summer but their changing financial situation means they are ready to cash-in now and City have pounced.

The signings would be another remarkable statement of intent by Manuel Pellegrini’s side, who spent more than £100million last summer.

I am cycling down to Carrington later to jump up and down behind Fraser, look out for a mud covered loony with a back pack, City hat and sunglasses on!

If you could only have only one of Mangala and Fernando today...which one?

Fernando, as we are short a quality player in CM. If one of Toure or Dinho gets injured..... its nearly season over.
