Haha I know how that sounds, but seriously... Look at our squad compared to our competitors (Arsenal and Chelsea, specifically).

The majority of our star players are beginning regress. Besides Jovetic, Aguero, Fernando, Samir and Mangala, our squad is all 28+. And are those 5 the core of our future?

I just don't see the plan, that's all. Chelsea's and Arsenal's futures look much more obvious and promising , IMO

Regress ffs........ fuck me our squad is in prime! I would agree with you if City squad average age would be 31-33. In around 5 years time it will start to regress. Of course that doesn't mean we shouldn't get new blood. We need to gradually replace the older players each summer either from the market or youth academy in those 5 years.

Currently only Yaya Toure is starting to regress, which means we need to replace him next summer with young player. Then in the summer of 2016 we get Fernandinho replacement when he is 31 etc.

If we don't do that we will do the rags, when the whole squad becomes past it at the same time.
