Guardian says we're after Alex Song among others
On the first day of Christmas the Rumour Mill gave to me: Manchester City are keen on 19-year-old Valencia full-back José Gayá , fancy a bit of Alex Song, want Monaco full-back Layvin Kurzawa and are willing to splash the cash on Swansea’s Wilfried Bony.

He's homegrown and would've been a decent option in the summer.

Also has more strings to his bow than Fernando. I'd be made up with signing him.

Bomy would be great, but I'm not sure about Song. Think he's really overrated personally.

I don't know how reliable Fichajes.net is,but if there is any truth in this,we must have someone lined up....

According to reports from the Spanish site Fichajes.net Atletico Madrid would be interested in Manchester City striker Stevan Jovetic. Former purple has a contract until 2018, but the English club seems interested to give it a loan to enable him to find more continuity.

Not a chance IMO that we'd loan him out.

Don't think so myself mate.

Dont know if there is any truth in the dippers looking to let Mario go? i think he would do a job for us. he never really took his chance the first time around. Maybe after seeing the grass isnt greener elsewhere he may look to come back.

Doubt the club would be interested though.

I'm sorry things aren't working out for you Mario. But no thanks, you had your chance here with us.

Being linked with alot of clubs recently, looks like a really good winger/second striker.

Palermos director is crazy though, calling him one the most expensive players in the world.

I think we'll let Sinclair and Nastasic go if buyers can be found, but don't think we'll buy anyone unless we were unable to extend Lampard's loan.
